Toss of the coin proves pivotal for New Farnley CC 3rds

New Farnley CC 3rds took on Hawksworth looking to notch up their first win of the campaign.
Upon their arrival they told us their star bowler was not able to get in the country, so looking around their team, we realised we had a great chance to notch up our 1st win of the campaign.

All was looking good till the coin toss, he called heads, it was, they bowled first.

New Farnley 3rds notched up 113 but suddenly realised they had no bowlers with a wicket completely dried out and void of life.
At drinks they were 54-2 but despite a brave attempt New Farnley lose by seven wickets with seven overs left to play.

Next week the 3rds visit Congs at Fulneck and Sunday is a cup match away at Old Mods.
