Once again the toss was lost and we were put in to bat with Doddie and Beast opening the innings.

Doddie saw off the first over without too much trouble then first ball second over Beast out for a GD.Lord Focker jooined Doddie and moved the score on to 23 before Doddie (4) edged one through to the keeper.Young Faz was next in offering valuable support to Focker before the ball deflected on to his stumps off his pads 45-3.Focker then followed caught and bowled for an impressive 54, his second consecutive half century(where did he get that bat from)

Dippy was looking very comfortable and moved on to 17 in quick time before driving straight to the fielder and it was 72-5.Winnie came,Winnie went 72-6.Keeper Wayne(17) was next in and with some big hitting moved the score on to 92 before being trapped leg before.Next man Richard got an absolute snorter and joined Beast in the GD club.Cheesy(0) was next out stumped followed by young Luke(1) and the innings was over with the total on 101.

Chasing 102 for victory from 63 overs Shipley got off to a steady start scoring 8 from the first 2 overs before Kenny cleaned bowled Gooding with the score on 12. A 57 partnership for the 2nd wicket was finally broken when their other opener Amjad danced down the wicket to Gaunty took an almighty swipe and was clean bowled quickly followed by Free who suffered the same fate.

Doddie then joined the attack trying to bowl spin, but couldn't get his radar working almost decapitating Wayne with a beamer in the process.Shipley knocked off the remaining runs with no further drama claming a comfortable seven wicket victory.

Next week the team visit new boys Hepworth & Idle
