Staff from Bupa Care Services took part in the work at Ryecroft Primary School.

To raise money for the materials, managers took it in turns to go in the stocks and have wet sponges thrown at them.

Employees turned out in force and paid £200 to take aim at their bosses while raffles and cake stalls raised a further £600.

They also received donations from decorating firms.

Lorraine Brookes, deputy payroll manager, who co-ordinated the event, said: "I'm sure the challenge will prove a great success in making the dining room more attractive for the school as well as bringing our team together."
