Lunchtime will be a lot brighter for pupils at Farnley's Ryecroft Primary when they return after the summer holidays as their dining room has been given a new lick of paint.

To raise money for the materials, managers took it in turns to go in the stocks and have wet sponges thrown at them.
Employees turned out in force and paid £200 to take aim at their bosses while raffles and cake stalls raised a further £600.
They also received donations from decorating firms.
Lorraine Brookes, deputy payroll manager, who co-ordinated the event, said: "I'm sure the challenge will prove a great success in making the dining room more attractive for the school as well as bringing our team together."
