Pathetic, says lawyer for Wortley man who burgled his gran

Police called to a burglary of an 80-year-old woman's home found her grandson sitting on the sofa.
Sean Cragg, 30, smashed a window to get into the house to steal cash and food, Leeds Crown Court heard.

Cragg of Clyde Grange, Wortley, Leeds was given an 18 month supervision order, 140 hours community work and ordered to attend a skills course.

Michael Walsh, lawyer for Cragg, said: "It's a miserable and pathetic offence on every level."
