Armley: Police release CCTV of armed robber

Police have released CCTV images of an armed robber who raided a betting shop in Armley.
The man went into the Betfred shop on Town Street, Armley, and produced a black handgun before threatening a staff member and demanding cash.

The staff member handed over an amount of cash and the robber left the shop.

West Yorkshire Police described the man as white, aged 23 to 25, about 6ft with an eastern European accent.

He was wearing a tan or khaki-coloured fake leather jacket, with a scarf across the lower part of his face.
